Step 1
Pull your little robot out of the pool and place him on something soft on the deck.
Green Lights
They should be on and may be flashing or solid when the unit is powered on and in sunlight
Green Flashing charging light means the unit is charging.
Green solid charging light means your little bot is fully charged.
Green Power light means the unit is turned on.
Red Lights
If there is a flashing red status light
Your unit is in hunt for sun mode
If there is a solid red status light
You likely have an obstructed or bad motor.
Step 2
Pull out his debris tray and chlorine tray and set it aside (avoid setting chlorine tray on your deck).
Step 3
Turn him upside down resting his solar panels on a towel or the cardboard.
Step 4
Carefully reach under the unit and turn it on.
Step 5
Are both paddle wheels turning?
Yes = this means your motors are both running- go to step 6
No = There is an issue with one or both motors = stop here.
Yes but intermittently = This indicates bad platforms -go to step 6
Step 6
Are the bumper wheels in the front of the unit spinning smoothly.
Yes= go to step 7
No, = you have bad gear platforms.
Step 7
Hold each paddle wheel and the bumper wheels independently, until you hear grinding or the wheel stops.
Did you hear grinding
Yes = Defiantly bad platforms stop here
No = go to step 8
Step 8
Did the wheel stop, pause, then turn on again in reverse?
Yes = the unit will need to be opened and check for debris impacted inside. Stop here and I can send information on how to do that
No = There may be an issue with the PCBA board or a motor is sending a bad signal. Stop here and we can find the best option for you.
